Thomas Michael
I think I found what the trouble was in the phorums. Here's a behind the scenes look at the problem. ;)
dUSt
Seriously. I knew the problem. One of the tables in the database was corrupted. I knew how to fix it. All I had to do was upload a backup copy I had of the database I made on Wednesday. I couldn't upload the backup database because of the "too many connections" error, so I had to wait for my web host to reset the database so I could do that. I gave up and decided to wait until tommorow. Then... for no reason at all (I did nothing to fix it), I was going to reply to the Column About Nothing one last time, and voila--the posts are back on the home page. Then, the phorum is working again. It's freaky. There is no way to explain how it was fixed. It's miracle.
