That's totally understandable though if you can't be very concentrated at Mass because you have your kids with you. I'm sure Our Lord is extremely pleased though at your caring for your children. :saint:

Yeah I can see how in that case, the EF could be like that, like observing from the outside, whereas at the Ordinary Form you would feel more like you've attended Mass, being able to listen to the readings and prayers, while at the same time taking care of your children.
-they had a problem with adults without kids going in there and then when a parent needed to take a crying child in there was no room for them--
we're having a problem with that and it's very annoying (especially now that i have celia) :annoyed:

Yeah, its annoying as all get out. After the priest made the announcement for people without kids to stay out it lasted a few weeks but it wasn't long term by any means. The thing that got me was that even aside from his announcement there was even a sign that said it was reserved for parents and children that had been there for ages. Some people will complain about Mom's breastfeeding (or give you weird looks even though you're totally covered) in the middle of the Church, but when you take up the little bit of semi-private space we've got you have no right to complain! :maddest:

Sorry for going all off-topic and ranting. This is something that really irks me.

It does not sound like the Bishop of Steubenville is very excited about the MP. That's unfortunate.
