SJRod55
I liked Winnipeg because of the Hudson Bay Company, the Zoo and pary - Where Winnie the Pooh is from and the Jets. There was or is also a wonderful British Pub there - I think it was the 'Kings Head' but I cannot remember, was many years ago. Canada is a wonderful country and there is so much to explore there. Never have understood the 'difference of opinion' between those who speak English and those who speak French - guess that's a whole other story. But I have many, many French speaking friends whom I have always found honourable and friendly despite my terrible French.

misereremi
Era, make sure you link me if you're passing through my sides! Ditto Rod's post. I've been a nomad most of my life, I never called a place "home" but a "base"...absolutely loved it. But for my husband's and children's sakes I have been making a stable home for them here...for now. We still travel a lot, though.
