Era Might
Just to be clear, if you have questions you should ask a Priest. I'm just giving my honest opinion based on what I do, but that doesn't mean I'm right. I don't want to be held accountable for someone not dressing appropriately and go to hell because I gave bad example. I was just giving my personal opinion, which is not worth much. Groo the Wanderer
Mebbe if the posters don't work, they could station ushers at the door to silently hand out albs to the offenders to wear during Mass...and don't let 'em into the Church until the albs are properly donned...cincture included booyah! jeffpugh
I like all of your posts on the matter. I'm not a fan of immodesty. But I need to say that I admire how the protestants get dressed up for Sunday worship. They're giving their best for God. On the other hand, I don't think it's completely necessary, just as long as the clothes are decent. I personally wear some blue chords and a white shirt to mass. It is comfortable and I don't look to shabby (I guess). All in moderation. Just as long as clothes are not skin tight or any other in any other sort of "revealing" way, I am appeased. God deserves modesty in his house. As for Groo... great idea. Except there are people out there that would stop going to church if they were always pulled over. Meh... pruning I guess?
