My wife and I are heading to the Dells this weekend. There seems to be a lot to do, so I need some help on the "highlights" of the Dells. So, what are the "must-see" attractions?

Going to Dell? Cool! Check out their newest XPS systems. They are built to compete with the Alienware gaming rigs! Stay away from the low-end Dimension seriies tho...full of refurbed hard drives...

Let me clarify, I'm going to the Wisconsin Dells. It's a tourist trap, normally shortened to just "the Dells".

/Oh, and I'd rather shoot off my own foot, than buy a Dell.

Well, if it's raining (like it's supposed to be here over the weekend), you will probably want to find an indoor waterpark or other things to do. Tommy Bartlet's Robot World etc.

Yeah. You're not the first person who's said that. I've never gone before, and it was either this or the North Shore. We're not really the "roughing" it sort, so the North Shore didn't have many activities we'd be interested in.

Yeah, polar opposites.... Given the two, I would take the Dells, hands down.

I love the North Shore-- for about a day and NOT in June.

There's a farmer who lives there... and he takes a wife.
:farmer: :saint:

Who takes a child :prop:

Who takes a nurse :stretcher:

Who takes a dog :underdog:

Who takes a cat :kitten:

Who takes a rat (or a rabbit in this case) :rabbit:

Who takes the coagulated milk :coagulated milk:

and the coagulated milk stands alone...

WHAT? The North Shore is AWESOME! And if you're hanging out in Duluth, they have plenty of tourist trap-py stuff...I almost single-handedly destroyed a gift shop the last time we vacationed there. :ninja:

Well...I sort of backed up into display shelf that was hooked to another display shelf...that was hooked to pretty much every other display shelf in the store. Everything shook a lot, but nothing broke (THANK GOD!). After that, and our incident on the staircase (the stairs didn't have backs and I FREAKED out and my dad pretty much had to carry me up) and the whole thing in the Duluth Pack store (don't put me on a hammock, EVER) and my dad almost falling into oncoming traffic as we were walking down the sidewalk, my mother wouldn't allow my father and I out alone in public, again. :idontknow: It was a busy day for us. :hehehe:

oh and I would not go to the Dells either. Mainly because I hate people. Especially tourists.
