:) I LOVE this prayer. I say it all the time, its such a comfort, especially when I feel in need of some extra prayer warriors. I figure those souls will pray for us since we prayed for them, ya know? Now we all have thousands of souls in heaven praying along with us for all our special intentions. :D

There is never a special intention Ice!

Or is it ALL intentions are special? ;)

Maybe instead of "special" we should say "urgent"? Thats what I usually mean when I say "special intentions"--and they're not usually for me, I generally am referring to what other people have asked me to pray for.

All I know is our priest said in response to a mass intention, that read a Special intention, he said in response, that there are no special intentions so now they have to read "For an intention only known to bob"

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the Universal Church, those in my own home, and within my family. Amen.

Prayed it 3 times. ;)

Lord, may the souls in Purgatory come to a greater understanding of what it is to love, what it is to hate, and what it can be like to be free of hate. May they be able to release their grip of wordly desires in order to be closer to You in Heaven. Amen.
