i love the brothers of St.Jean so much! They are awesome. Esp, the stuff they do with the youth. And the sisters are amazing. During Eagle Eye last summer there were apostolic sisters who came to the US to help the whole summer and they were really awesome. I hope that they do start a branch here in the US because i think theat their presence would be great.

But yeah, Bro. Nathan, Bro John Luke, and Bro Peter Francis are all awesome, as is Fr. Antoine.

yeah the brother always do the youth retreats here in the Peoria Diocese!!!! We love them tons and are always happy that they do our retreats......of course we made fun of them but we still love them no matter what!!!

Hey, I just heard from a friend who often visits the community in Princeville, IL that the Contemplative Sisters of St. John have recently established a new foundation in Northern Ireland. Congrats to them!

Some of the Sisters of St. John came over for supper one night when I was on a visit to the CFR sisters in NYC. They were all native French speakers and were very bright and joyful. I wish they could have stayed and talked for longer, definately check them out.

Yep. I originally wrote Londonderry last year without thinking, which is what my friend who is close to the community in IL emailed it to me as. But then I realized it would be referred to by most Catholics (in Ireland), or maybe that's the wrong word to use, Republicans, as just Derry. On the Community of St. John's site their address is Derry.

Aren't there some of the Contemplative sisters around Chicago? I spoke to some at the Congress (the one we 'know' from Montreal introduced us), and then I spoke for some time Sunday morning with a postulant named Theresa.

Yep, though about 3 hours away in Princeville, IL in the Diocese of Peoria.
