(And have someone take a picture. ) I recently met a little lamb at a Mountain Mushroom festival (no, not that kind of mushroom.... ) and his name was Spartacus. He was SO cute!
I agree, and I've enjoyed the new photos that were added. Thank-you! For some reason, I find pictures of nuns and Sisters very relaxing and comforting, especially when they look happy. Obviously, I don't DISLIKE the pictures of them at more serious times, such as during the ceremony of the reception of the habit, etc. Even if the nuns/Sisters are not smiling widely in those pictures, they look content and touched by God--maybe even better than smiling. I particularly enjoy seeing the pictures of new postulants entering, and of them receiving the habit of the novitiate. The number of new entrances in a given community may be only 2 or 3 postulants and/or novices, but even 2 or 3 entrances adds up to a lot of new vocations for a community when it is repeated every year. Yes, the Mennonites/Amish are not Catholic, but they are certainly examples of people who "live their faith," and normally live very holy lives. I also respect their strong pacifist beliefs.
