I think it's just a small world and people "pop up" in the most unexpected places. I've been around a bit....I'll give you that. I just happened to be visiting a friend who has a long time connection to Stanbrook and Sr. Philippa, who was here in the US at the time, was visiting the same person. We liked each other right off and have kept consistent contact though we are across the pond from one another these days. They are the Spanish version of Mother Teresa and the Missionaries of Charity. Their spirituality is Franciscan, they are very prayerful and austere, serve the poorest in their homes etc. and wear the original habit.
