Sometimes, when an aspirant comes for the 1st few days she goes crazy trying to figure out the "monastery" language! I guess it's a dialect of the "Catholic" language!
Oh geeeee thanks how comforting that must be for the aspirants! :P: :P: :P: :P: :P:

I love you anyway SMC! ^_^

worldwide morning prayer of the Missionaries of Charity:

Dear Lord Jesus, the Great Healer, I kneel before you, since every perfect gift must come from you. I pray, give skill to my hands, clear vision to my mind, kindness and meekness to my heart. Give me singleness of purpose, strength to lift up a part of the burden of my suffering fellowmen, and a realization of the privilege that is mine. Take from my heart all guile and worldliness, that with the simple faith of a child, I may rely on you. Amen.

philosophette

Must be atrociously bad sandals. I wear sandals all the time and my feet are simply calloused. That scares any desire to be discalced straight out of me!

Did she have osteoporosis? It looks painful.

EDIT:

I found the answer:
Like many successful entrepreneurs, Mother Teresa did not permit ill health to stop her. She survived two heart attacks and a bone disease that knotted her spine, hands and feet. source
You never hear about that suffering of hers.
