Luthien
dude, Paladin! Long time no see! Sorry we couldn't invite you to the wedding, we just didn't have enough taco's to go around. Isn't it funny to look back on our early days on PM? Makes me feel...like reminiscing or somethin'.

toledo_jesus
I pop in here every now and again. I like it a lot but I have little time for perusing the boards. Also, I thrive on conflict and this board is peaceful. I blog now instead.
littleflower+JMJ
paladin! its so awesome to see ya post (and those other old posters too!), I know I most definitely miss your presence here (as well as those others! lol). There was so many laughs back then, it was pretty awesome. (the late yahoogroup chats... ) The great thing is PM will always be here as long as dUSt lets us and that will always be a blessing! You will be in my prayers as you work towards your goals (Army? Wow! ), just make sure you always check in and always wear your pretty helmet! : We won't forget you ever : ...I won't forget the thread about us getting married and having 6 kids either! : : Life will always move too fast for us but its a good thing as long as we always touch base sometime in between because peeps def care about what your up to and whats been going on! And that goes for all you popping in! lol

Paladin D
w/b man...thanks for posting, that's cool. you still into graphic design? remember Kiddkapps' poster project? haha
Yes I remember that. I enjoy photo editing more these days, not so much graphic design. I lost the desire to do it, mainly frustration with my lack of ideas and technique. I want to get into it again someday, but focusing on other things. I can do some basic stuff, but there are far more Photoshop lovers that can do better than me at this point. Norseman82
The last two years, I haven't been very active on Phatmass as I used to in the past. The cause was due to my lack of interest in hardcore apologetics during that "era", and also changes in my life (graduating from High School, then landing my first full-time job at Applebee's).
Every life has changes that have to be dealt with. In fact, sometimes spending too much time on the internet can lead to a neglect in tending to those changes. So don't worry, you didn't do anything that requires penance. kamiller42
Another disappointment is how I've gotten somewhat bored with Catholic apologetics. Not that I find apologetics boring in of itself, but with the changes in my life that are happening, apologetics has been put on the back burner. I still remember spending hours just studying, now I'm lucky if I even engage in a religious debate. I want to get back into it, but not sure if it'll be very soon. For those who don't know what has been happening with me lately, I recently (honorably) quit my job at Applebee's. I was a dedicated employee of a local Applebee's that was constructed and opened it's doors on January 16th, 2006, I was there since day 1 (my first job too). Had a lot of good memories working there, and made some good friends. I quit specifically to give myself plenty of time for the next few months, to train and prepare myself for enlistment in the U.S. Army.
There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens. (Ecclesiastes 3:1) Just as spring returns every year, your passion for the things that really matter will return. For lesser important things, they will pass. When I was a child, I used to talk as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I put aside childish things. (1 Corinthians 13:11) Good luck with your Army opportunity. When I was going through the challenges of basic training in the Air Force, I embraced Sundays and the Church. It was the calm in the storm. Don't forget that when the training instructor is giving you a hard time and chaos seems to surround you. They came and woke him saying, "Master, master, we are perishing!" He awakened, rebuked the wind and the waves, and they subsided and there was a calm. Then he asked them, "Where is your faith?" (Luke 8:24-25a)
