First Communion Today

It made me think of my first communion too ... except since I did mine as an adult I didn't get to wear the pretty dresses. The kids all looked so adorable!

One thing I thought was cool was that they had all the families sit in separate rows, and go up and then all receive together, standing around their little First Communicant. It was really beautiful!

May God Bless the entire HSFamily

(Checks catechism, thinking ice cream was not mentioned once . . . I would have noticed)

Time goes so quickly . . . it won't be long now until confirmation . . .

I know... I was trying to count out the years to see if HSdaughter and HStot will have confirmation and first Communion in the same year. Once I figured yes, and once I figured no. It will depend upon when HStot starts kindergarten-- he's a Sept. birthday.

So, possibly adding to the :sadder: but, when HStot is no longer a tot, what will you call him?

He could always be HSTot forever! Fond memories when he is 35 and visiting mom (older too I would guess) ...

I don't know... but I've thought about it.

I think I might have to go with HSson1 and HSson2
