Yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling in Gonzales v. Carhart upholding the right of Congress and state legislatures to regulate abortion and, in particular, to ban partial-birth abortion, is “a blade to the back of the head of every woman in America,” according to Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY.

“I know I speak for my sisters across the nation,” said Sen. Clinton, “when I say that I feel like someone grabbed me by the ankles, and jammed a pair of scissors into the base of my skull and then just sucked my brains out. This is devastating to our freedoms and our sense of who we are as the largest minority group in America.”

Mrs. Clinton derided the justices who comprised the majority in the 5-4 ruling as “a gang of callous right-wingers who slaughtered the civil rights of women just as we are about to experience a new birth of freedom with the election of the first female president.”

“All that potential, all that hope is now tossed down the garbage chute,” she said, “and all because five selfish judges decided that their so-called ‘right to choose’ supersedes the life of the women’s movement. It’s despicable.”
Now she knows how the unborn child feels. I would like to see a large number of women tell Sen. Clinton that she does not speak for them.

Okay this is weird. If abortions are "good," then wouldn't the ban on PBA (which she likens to an actual abortion) be good?

It's gonna take a lot of prayers to take this soul from Satan's lies.

Wouldn't want that. That would be inhumane. <_<

Is there any way she actually said that???

Wow, er... umm... now my head hurts. The logic, er... illogic is astounding and uh, wow. My brain stopped, and one brain cell said to the next "its dark in here, and I think we may die."

Seriously though, the brazen it takes to say something that absurd, that arrogant, makes me want to register as a democrat JUST to make sure she does not win the primaries. As a former fetus I know I speak for my fellow former fetuses (those not in denial) when I say she is out of her mind.

You people realize its a faked quote?

Its supposed to be humorous

Seriously I can't believe that people would actually attribute that quote to her.

Come on folks, let's use a teeny bit of common sense!

Wow - sorry people. I thought everyone would catch the very extreme satire.

Scrappleface is a satire news site.
The article was trying to make a point. :)
And I think it's well made.

Scrappleface's writer does a great job.

Yeah, while Scrappleface is satire (and was this was not intended to be taken as an actual news story), the satire makes a strong moral point.
It is the truth that Hillary Clinton has voted in support of PB abortion, and has defended it.

Ummmm.... after some of the stuff I've heard on radio shows, I couldn't say that that pushes the limits of my credulity very far. What would be hard to believe is that a statement like that would be made public.

Ash Wednesday

For a second there, before figuring out what was going on, I thought "wow, she's really lost it."

Too bad we won't see her actually say something that loopy. That would be a political campaign killer for sure.
