jeffpugh
"56% (Dixie). Barely into the Dixie category." I think I broke the test. I'm Canadian after all! Though I have some disputes about some of the questions... #16, referring to what you call a carbonated drink... there was no "soda pop". I actually just started calling it that... just I feel like it. I used to call it just pop... so that was my vote. as for #13, concerning the interstate highway... there was no "on ramp", so that tells you how Canadian I am (though we don't really have interstate highways...). My vote was feeder. Just seemed "right". Also, #8 about sales on the front yard... I call it both Yard sale and Garage sale... well Garage if it is literally out of the garage... okay maybe I don't have a beef with that one. Oh and I have a beef with #12, which is about the topping on the cake. I put icing (same with my brother) and it says "All of southern U.S., and Midwest except Great Lakes area". There's the flaw in the system... Oh... and #20... another flaw, being we don't have that kind of bug... or do we? Maybe they are potato bugs... I dunno I think I picked pillbug... Now for the commentary on my result... does liking Dixieland (the old style of Jazz) count for my Dixie percentage? Hahaha Edited May 28, 2007 by Sacred Music Man
Totus Tuus
53% (Dixie). Barely into the Dixie category. I'm no Dixie and I ain't a yank. I'm a Texan.
BG45
49% (Yankee). Barely into the Yankee category. Unsurprising, I do live in West Virginia.
Luthien
55% Dixie. Maine likes to think they're "country." Which explains all of the "twang" that floated through the air where I lived in central Maine, so thats probably how I scored a little higher on that one... Now I live in Ohio, it's only been 6 weeks though.
son_of_angels
69%= A definitive Southern score! I should hope so, considering that I was born and raised in the Ozarks. "Arkansas, Arkansas, 'tis the name dear..."

Maria_Faustina
53% (Dixie). Barely into the Dixie category. I'm so disappointed! Born and bred in Austin, Texas, yessiree, folks, and I can't even hold my own country's---ahem, state's--colors past 53%?? Course, moving to the Midwest several years ago may have something to do with it...
