pham,

new Biblical Backup on The Primacy of Peter added to the "Biblical Bakup" thread down w/ the rest of the threads in the Apo Board. You will also find this in the Reading Room, as soon as dUSt has the time to upload and format.

Laudate_Dominum

ya know, if u want to go ahead and gather info on Theology of the Body or History of the Catholic Church, that would be helpful. then the info will be ready and the pham won't have to wait on me to finish w/ the other entries first.

here's a list of the main sites i go to:

--Catholic Biblical Apologetics

--Catholic Answers

--Scripture Catholic

--Biblical Evidence for Catholicism

--Catholic United for the Faith (go to the Faith Facts section)

--Catholic Pages (go to the Truth section)

--Nazareth Resource Library

--EWTN Document Library

--EWTN Audio Library

--Catholic Culture Library

--One Faith Reference Materials

--Traditional Catholic Apologetics

--Defenders of the Catholic Faith (Steve Ray's Writings)

--Catholic Outlook

--Mark Shea's Sheavings

--St. Borromeo Faith Section (I'm Glad You Asked)

--St. Borromeo Faith Section (To Tell You the Whole Truth)

--Knights of Columbus Luke E. Hart Series

--Knights of Columbus Veritas Series

--Corunum Apologetics

--Catholic Exchange Truth Facts

--Catholic Exchange Library

--Catholic Educator's Resource Center

--Domestic Church (Articles and Essays)

--Turris Fortis Catholic Apologetics

--The Coming Home Network

the easiest thing for u to do will probably be to make a word document where u can just paste links to articles and other info as u find it. then, when ur done, u can make a post and add the word doc as an attachment or cut and past the links into a post.

thanks bro for anything u are able to do,

I just barely read this post for the first time. I hope it's not too late. :)

LaudDom,

have at it bro! w/ the other stuff i'm workin on, i haven't even looked at those two topics yet. so, anything u can do would be a tremendous help. also, there's no rush since there's much to get done before that, so take ur time.

thanks for anything u are able to do,

pham,

major updates made to the "anointing of the sick" entry. make sure u check that out. also, i plan on starting on the next biblical backup entry on "apostolic succession and authority," so look for that soon. two entries in the biblical backup have already been completed, so check out the Biblical Backup post on the second page of this board, as well as the reading room, as dUSt finds the time to upload and format them there.

pham,

anointing of the sick entry is complete. also, since dUSt has alot to do before he can format the biblical backup section in the reading room, i'm not gonna be in much of a hurry to start on the next entry for that. also, the next entry for the reference section is Salvation, which is very important. so i'm gonna concentrate on that instead. even still, its gonna take a while. there's a ton of info on this subject to glean from the internet.

......just so ya know.

pham,

sorry i've been slow about updating the "heaven, hell, and purgatory" entry. things have been particulary hectic, w/ grad school and some personal matters. however, i plan on finishing that entry this week.

btw, LAUD_DOM, if ur still interested in working on getting articles together for the Theology of the Body or History of the Catholic Church just let me know.

pham,

the following updates have been made:

--section on indulgences and audio about indulgences added to the Confession and Penance entry
--Last Things entry completed
--two beta (under construction) entries added:

1. non-catholic groups: christian
2. non-catholic groups: non-christian

i will be working on them simultaneously since info on both is usually found in the same place. i decided to break it up into two entries for the sake of clarity and brevity.

enjoy!

Good new resource for Theology of the Body is a book by Steve Kellmeyer.
Sex and The Sacred City, my husband and I just read it. We highly recommend it.
Steve has a column on Catholic Exchange and hails from our hometown. You can order/ look at his book at bridegroompress.com.

pham,

i just finished two entries in the reference section:

--Non-Catholic Groups: Christian
--Non-Catholic Groups: Non-Christian

make sure you guys check that out. seriously, i think this collection of articles about specific religions and denominations is more comprehensive than any other website i've seen.

also, i plan on putting a crazy smiley-face by the best article in each section of each entry, so that you all know where to start when u see a massive list of articles for an entry. so, look for that soon.

finally, here's the entries i have left to do:
--anti-catholicism
--how to "apologize"
--theology of the body
--history of the church
--prayer and devotion

can ya dig it? i can. holla,
phatcatholic

I'm reading a book about this..it's really good and does a little background on Christian meditation. Do you want me to try and see if any of it's on the internet?

I can also try to find some good internet sites on anti-catholicism.
