Majoring in Latin was immensely fruitful. I recommend double majoring in Latin and/or Classics to anyone. The study is especially helpful for those studying journalism, law, medicine, history, the Church, philosophy, thelogy, etc.

No Latin for me. I had four years of French in high school, 1 1/2 years of Russian in college, and about 3 months of Welsh. I can generally read Romance languages because of French, but the only language I speak fluently is American English.

Dw i'n dysgu Cymraeg.

Ash Wednesday

Throughout my entire education history, I have not had one class of latin. It wasn't available in high school (I is a blue collar public skool student) college, or masters as I was an art student. La de da!
