Veritas
+ Majoring in Latin was immensely fruitful. I recommend double majoring in Latin and/or Classics to anyone. The study is especially helpful for those studying journalism, law, medicine, history, the Church, philosophy, thelogy, etc. Edited April 23, 2007 by Veritas

hoosieranna
No Latin for me. I had four years of French in high school, 1 1/2 years of Russian in college, and about 3 months of Welsh. I can generally read Romance languages because of French, but the only language I speak fluently is American English. Dw i'n dysgu Cymraeg. Ash Wednesday
Throughout my entire education history, I have not had one class of latin. It wasn't available in high school (I is a blue collar public skool student) college, or masters as I was an art student. La de da!
