Nope. Crayons are the best. Markers cannot out do a nice, new box of crayola color crayons! Ahhh...the smell of a new box of crayons, with nice, sharp points! I can't wait to have kids so I can color with them! :hehehe:
I ask for crayons.

I write my name, my home number, cell number, address, e-mail address, myspace url and website.

I got a response from the waitress on myspace hehe.
I would hesitate to leave personal information of that sort lying around.

I ask for them, butg honestly, its for the kids.
Really...

One of my many pet peeves about working in a restaurant is that so many kids break the crayons we give to them. Once they're broken we have to throw them out. I suppose we could get one of those things that melts the crayon pieces into a new crayon.

One of my pet peeves about restaurant crayons is how bad quality some of them are! You might as well use a candle!

when we get up they clean up the table. they're not gonna sit somebody with all that graffiti on that table.

besides i'm moving to Jersey. so i wouldn't be living in the same address for very long. and if my e-mail is out there, i dont' really care. if a stalker finds my phone number i can always hang up.

You wrote it ON the table?!? Geesh! I'd be cautious about that! Having to scrub things off tables could turn anyone into a stalker...and not in a good way.

normally restaurants give new (cheapy) crayons to the kids.

I've been to trendy restaurants where the tablecloth is actually from a large roll of paper and the waiters give out little baskets of used crayons where people can draw on the paper. I go with friends and we draw all over it! I love those!
Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! This is where the BIG FAT MARKERS ,(provided they were washable) would come in handy!
But they'd still have to scrub that off...just cuz it SAYS it's washable doesn't mean that it is EASILY washable! :annoyed:

Okay.....Okay no one said anything about how easy things are to clean up!!!!!!! We were talking Pure fun! No one says,"I dont want to color with those because they are to hard to clean up!" unless you do .................then I am wrong! They are still brighter colors!

No, I was just thinking about the poor person who had to clean off the table with marker or crayon on it.
But nothing will ever replace crayons in my heart. :) They are amazing! (Plus, I can stay inside the lines better with them...
