I disagree with Fr. Corapi, but won't get into that. Suffice it to say I don't one is morally obligated to attempt to have the longest lifespan possible.

As regards your wife and children, sounds respectable enough. It took me a while to convince my fiance pipe smoking was okay.

As regards your health; do you inhale? If not, are you feeling ill health effects from pipe smoking? I don't inhale and have never had any ill health effects. There have been interesting recent studies about how people who smoke and drink coffee lower their risk of parkinson's disease, for whatever that's worth, lol.

Only the habitual cigarette smokers that I know have trouble NOT inhaling while smoking a pipe or cigar.
