You know that when I was little my mother always told me your brain was like this huge computer, evrey thing you put in ,Good, Bad or indifferent. its there! I like near death experiances, they are very interesting, I like ideas and hearing others opinions! I take them in and I weigh them! I do not however, get to obsessed with them! I love hearing your travels out to space and energy and somehow it brings you back to the real presence in the Eucharist! Like I stated before its the ride on the boat out of willie wonka and the chocolate factory. You start off excited, you get really scary, and you get off the boat very thankful your alive! There is a much eaiser way of getting there! JC
Hi JCkinsman: I actually don't think that I have read too many near death experiences because I consider them to be perhaps the most comprehensible theology that I have ever read. Also it seems as if they fit better with many branches of pseudo-science that I personally take very seriously. A book was written by a scientist entitled "The Secret Life of Plants" and the shortened version of this book was published in a Reader's Digest condensed book. The near death experiencers report seeing that in the heavenly garden even plants are connected to God and are alive. The Apocalypse states that even animals and birds praise God in their own language. I believe that the near death experience material is spectacular and easily understood theology that is a genuine fulfillment of God's promise in Joel to pour out his holy spirit in the latter days so that both sons and daughters of Israel and the Gentiles would prophecy. A few days ago the Discovery Channel had an episode of Myth Busters where they attempted to replicate the type of experiments conducted in "The Secret Life of Plants." Although the guys concluded that they could not absolutely replicate the results it is interesting that when one of the guys thought evil thoughts about a plant that was connected to a sensitive lie detector the plant powerfully reacted 35% of the time when he was beside the plant and 28% of the time when he was outside the same room in which the plan was and looked at the plant through a window. To me, even their study seemed to indicate that plants are far more cognizant than we might realize.
Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, [and]the cedars of Lebanon, [saying], Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
Isaiah 14. As an aspiring politician I regard that this material indicates that I must take the writings of organizations like PETA (People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals) with more than a little seriousness. Aloysius
Mary and Joseph had no other children. It is possible that Joseph had children from another marriage; otherwise those who are called his "brothers" in the scriptures are his kinsmen, as it was what they called kinsmen in that time. Mary is the Gate of Heaven through which God incarnated, God became man through Mary. As per Ezek. 44:2, no one shall enter through the gate through which God came. Mary was ever-virgin before and after Jesus' birth. As regards all the stuff about grass and plants and stuff... well... hehe... yeah. You approach pantheism far too much, I'll say that. Every portion of creation is distinct from God; it is not God and it is not part of God. If it were, then God would have no problem with idolatry... if all creation was just part of Him. No, He is distinct and entirely "other" from creation. and the lesson of Genesis is that man is distinct from the animals, unique and special. Only man is made in God's image and likeness. He has dominion over them, and is permitted to receive sustinence from them. Oh, and at every Eucharist they do break the bread. Not every individual host, but one host, and that is the symbolism, that His body was broken for us. There is no need to go and request that they break it for you, it is broken for all before Communion is distributed. The Eucharist becomes substantially the Body of Christ; not just because we want it to represent Him, but because Jesus Christ, God Himself, gave power to certain men such that the reality of the bread and wine would change whensoever they repeated His words in commemoration of Him. anyway, you've said a lot of things here that don't really fit into what the Church teaches. so much that I can't really address them all... those were just a couple points to make. if you have the docility to submit yourself to learn from the Church, though, you would find a lot about the continuation of the Covenant in the Christian Church which is spiritually fulfilling. I know neither Hebrew nor Greek and I have certainly seen examples where the most probable meaning of scripture was altered by the translators....and for most of my life I did not read these verses in The Catholic Bible.....but....there are many reasons why the historical Roman Catholic Church would be extremely uncomfortable with the idea that Joseph and Mary may themselves have had several other children other than Yahushua/Jesus who was somehow born of the Holy Spirit:
Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this [man]all these things?
Matthew 13:55,56
Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
(Matthew 1:24.25). A good friend of mine attended Ambassador College in the late seventies and early eighties. He had a good friend there who knew latin reasonably well and at this college they had the entire eighth century edition of the Catholic Encyclopaedia. My friend's friend translated the article entitled I believe "The Anti-Christ" and he was pretty shocked by what was stated in this article. Thirteen hundred years ago The Roman Catholic Church taught that in the latter days Christ would return to the earth first for a period of time and things would be going great but then the anti-Christ would come and cast Christ into hell and the anti-Christ would rule over the earth for one thousand years and influence essentially everybody to observe the Jewish Sabbaths and Holy Days, eat kosher and observe other Mosaic laws. Now the Catholic Church thirteen hundred years ago was made up of humans....who were probably not thrilled with the series of events that their own prophets/prophetesses had forseen....as you can guess....predictions of this nature tended to inspire people somewhat toward anti-Semitic thinking! Although YHWH anointed King Saul, King David, King Solomon and King Rehoboam he also raised up Jereboam to be an adversary to King Solomon and YHWH divided the ancient kingdom of Israel and Judah.
Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.
(Ecclesiastes 11:2) Many branches of Judaism...teach universal salvation...and the word Catholic actualy means universal! [post="http://www.moshiach.com/discover/tutorials/the_personality_of_moshiach.php"]http://www.moshiach.com/discover/tutorials/the_personality_of_moshiach.php[/post]
As a faithful shepherd he already cares so much about his people that he volunteered to suffer all kinds of agonies to assure that not a single Jew of all times will be lost
(The Personality of Moshiach by Rabbi Jacob Immanuel Schochet) Eccleaisticus 48 predits that in the last days that the final Elijah will somehow "appease the wrath of the LORD." Yahushua/Jesus stated that he had been given all power in heaven and earth....and I absolutely believe this statement to be true....but he did not state that he had all power in heaven, earth and IN HELL! (Although it certainly does mention in the Apocalypse that He does possess the key to hell)! Does Yahushua/Jesus WANT to go to hell so that he can break every chain and set every captive free much as he did for three days as his body was in the tomb? Obviously something drastic must happen in the end of days that the wrath of the LORD is somehow appeased! Why is the LORD angry in the first place? He is seated on a throne with angels coming into his presence and going out from Him like lightening!!! The streets in His kingdom are paved with gold that is as clear as crystal....thousand...and tens of thousands...and millions of angels and saints are singing His praises!!!!! So why is He still angry!!!!???? Could it be because just as King David mourned over his son Absolom so the Heavenly Father desperately misses ALL of the lost humans and angels who have fallen away from Him who are confined in hell and purgatory and perhaps some sort of limbo???!!! Does the last Elijah somehow participate in a Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement sort of event where a somewhat improved version of the "goat for Azazel" is presented???!!!! (It should not be too hard for somebody to be an improvement over Barabbas)! After all...there was a literal fifty day waiting period between the actual resurrection of Yahushua/Jesus and when the Holy Spirit/Ruach ha Kodesh was poured out on the 120 who were gathered together! It is clearly stated in the law of Moses that the Passover Lamb could either be a kid of the goats or a lamb...which actually kind of shocked me when I noticed this?! Being as I have studied Judaism from a Christian perspective for about thirty years I have often wondered if there was something truly unusual in the Festival of Atonement/Yom Kippur. Could there be somehow a jump in time to the latter days before a Yom Kippur event occurs that is quite different from the Passover event that Yahushua/Jesus fulfilled? Could the last Elijah and the other of the two witnesses somehow factor into a modern Yom Kippur event that expands the dominion of Yahushua/Jesus beyond merely heaven and earth even into hell itself???? Did a genuine Catholic prophet/prophetess (or a number of them) who was/were recognized by the historical church once forsee a genuine prediction of how Yahushua/Jesus will come to the earth only to go to hell for some reason???? I have pondered this question for years and years and especially since 1989 and 1990 when I first read about negative near death experiences which shot the soul sleep concept that I had held all to ribbons! In 1990, less than one year from the death of my unsaved/unconverted father Robert Stewart Tate, I personally asked Yahushua/Jesus and the Heavenly Father if they had any use for a somewhat improved goat for Azazel than Barabbas had been?! I said that I was kind of a goat and that I had nothing better to do with my time than somehow play this role if this would somehow fit into their plan. Actually...I asked for a lot more than that...One day after reading Isaiah 10 I was angry and I was praying and I distinctly heard a voice in my head say something to the effect: "Ask of me whatever you wish and I will give it to you?" Silly me....I thought that this voice was from The Devil whose guilt I had asked to be put on my own head...dumped on me as if I was a goat for Azazel...(if that would somehow fit into the divine plan)....I replied something to the effect: "Back in the days of Job you used to be able to go up and visit with The Eternal/YHWH....well...how about you go as close to the Heavenly Father as you can still go and tell Him that Tate wants more wisdom than Christ....(while he was human)...so that I can figure this mess out...and play you a good game of chess...with five billion variables!"..... (Isaiah 10 reminds me of how Adolf Hitler conquered one nation after another with relatively little resistance...and I felt that if wanted to make some noise in the latter days against a modern fulfillment of these verses that I desperately needed wisdom and help from the God of Abraham...because the problems on this earth are astonishingly complex and confusing!) Now there are major and minor fulfillments of each of the Jewish Holy Days...I suspect that the occasion on which each of us finally comes to the realization of the immensity of the sacrifice of Yahushua/Jesus for us...this is a type of a Passover event in our lives....certainly we should experience times when we feel an outpouring of the Ruach ha Kodesh/Holy Spirit...and somehow this Yom Kippur event should factor into our lives as well.....somehow.....perhaps this happens when we realize that there is a Barabbas/a robber as well as a beast and a false prophet within each and every one of us that only Yahushua/Jesus and the Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit can cast down for us.... Anyway...I believe that just as YHWH raised up Jereboam to be an adversary to King Solomon...so also....Roman Catholicism and Judaism have been set against each other much as Joseph/Yosef put forward a scenarion to test his brethren...and by taking up his challenge...Judah prevailed to become the grandfather of Yahushua/Jesus as well as of King David.... [topic="http://www.ccel.org/a/anonymous/jasher/54.htm"]http://www.ccel.org/a/anonymous/jasher/54.htm[/topic](Chapter 54 of The Book of Jasher....
And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken [it].
(Ezekiel 34:24)
And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, [even]they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David [shall be] their prince for ever.
(Ezekiel 37:25) Could King David himself perhaps in a form similar to how John the Baptist was somehow Elijah be the anti-Christ that YHWH raises up against Yahushua/Jesus so that universal salvation is finally worked out for both Catholics as well as for Jews????!!!
Aloysius my friend...you have struck right to the heart of the problem...I feel that I must accomplish a lot with my life....accomplishing a lot with our lives does create a cognitive dissonance with being extremely docile! One of the things that I hope to do with the days that I have remaining in my life is to teach people about the mysteries hidden in scripture...some of the riddles and dark sayings of the wise...that when even glimpsed...have the potential to help nations and organizations and racial groups and denominations that have been at war with each other....to have a much greater level of real peace and understanding.... The Roman Catholic Church has accepted the scholarly approach...which in my opinion changes the governmental structure of the church from that of an absolute Monarchy...to a constitutional monarchy....and frankly I do applaud this decision! The Roman CAtholic Church has also advocated not attempting to prostyletize Jews! Of course a powerful argument could be presented against this position....but for my part....if the Jews are correct that YHWH is working out universal salvation....If the historical war between Catholics and Jews has been orchestratrated....choreographed much as the conflict between Joseph and Judah as they strove over the proposed fate of Benjamin....then the possibility exists in these latter days....that a Grand Unification Theory....not only of space and time and electromagnetism, gravity, weak and strong nuclear force such as written about by Dr. Chaim Tejman and Dr. Stephen Hawking have proposed.....but even of theology...of Judaism...of Christianity...of Islam....even of Hinduism and Buddhism.... In these end of days...maybe we goats are somewhat less docile than the church might wish to encounter in proposed converts....but we can chomp up plants appropriately termed lamb kill...leaving the pasture much safer for the lambs and sheep who might well not survive without our contribution! I plan to spend the rest of my life somewhat involved in politics...If I have a proposal set in front of me that will probably result in many many fewer abortions in the upcoming four or five years than have occurred over the previous five years...I might support that bill if I feel that a stronger bill or piece of legislature just is not possible given the present hardness of our hearts...I will be a pro-life politian....but I plan to attempt to not be overly righteous as King Solomon spoke about:
Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself?
Ecclesiastes 7:16 As I face troubling questions in the future...I will certainly ask advice from the leaders in the Roman Catholic Church who will at least talk to me....but I will not necessarily unthinkingly believe and obey each and every word that they utter! Over much obedience to ecclestical authority in a Catholic can be an abomination to many voters and their opinion does count! We must remember the Dr. Milgram experiment! The Father begets the Son before all Ages in eternity, the love between the Father and the Son is the Holy Spirit; and these three are one; and there is no other Person in this blessed Trinity. If you believe there to be another person within this trinity, you put yourselves outside the realm of Catholic Doctrine. If you believe there to be a mother goddess, you put yourself outside the realm of monotheism itself. You would have to place this "Mother YHWH" as an angel of some sort, but we know from scripture and tradition that Angels are pure spirit and have no sex; which is why we refer to them in the masculine because that is the default (think of a crosswalk sign in new york city: it has the symbol for a man walking; one time, as an experiment, they took down the no crossing sign with an x through the little man symbol and put one with the x through the little woman symbol... they had to take it down because too many men were almost getting killed: the feminine refers to a specific sex, the masculine does not so much) Our Mother is Mary most Holy, the mother of all Christians. It is said that part of the reason the Angels rebelled is because they knew of God's plan to raise her, a mere human creature, above them- pure angelic beings. The stuff in the Hebrew Scriptures about "Wisdom" refers either to Christ and/or (scriptures can have multiple layers of meaning) Mary most Holy. If you like, we can extend this into the debate table.
Hi Aloysius: You certainly raise some fascinating questions here... "Our Mother is Mary most Holy, the mother of all Christians. It is said that part of the reason the Angels rebelled is because they knew of God's plan to raise her, a mere human creature, above them- pure angelic beings." Yes, I very much like the idea of taking this to the debate table....I may do a little copying and pasting to get this topic started.... From past experience I know that often it is better to NOT be a member of an organization...once one becomes a member then if I differ too much on my explanation of doctrines then I have to be excommunicated....but if I remain as a non-member the lines of communication are still open and frankly I wish to be certain that my ideas will probably not get me excommunicated...previous to my becoming formally Catholic! I suspect that I will probably become Catholic through the Charismatic movement anyway because many in this movement are already closer to Hebraic Roots Christianity than the non-Charismatic members! Incidentally I received a letter from Virgin Earth Challenge...Quite impressive...I would highly recommend to anybody with a theory on how the environment can be protected to submit their concept to this group: [post="http://www.virginearth.com/"]http://www.virginearth.com/[/post]

Did you become pro-Choice based on misleading statistics?
I suspect that you may have decided to be pro-Choice based on thoroughly misleading but impressive statistics that abortion advocates casually spout. "How many women died from illegal abortions? The head of one of the major pro-abortion organizations in the U.S. said: "In 1972 there were 1,000,000 illegal abortions and 5,000 to 10,000 women died from them." True? Or False?" (abortionfacts.com) The example of what has happened in Poland between the years 1990 to 1994 is of and by itself sufficient reason to abandon your pro-Choice stance! http://www.abortionfacts.com/online_books/...hem_both_27.asp "I’d still worry that if you forbid abortion, it will just go back to back-alley butchery and lots of mothers dying." "We’ve had an example of an entire nation in recent years. It was Poland. Under Communist rule in the ’80s, there were consistently over 100,000 abortions registered each year as compared to about 600,000 births. With the establishment of some self-government in 1990, with both the Church and doctors discouraging abortion, the numbers fell to 59,400. Let’s list the 1990 figures and then look ahead to 1994, the second year after abortion was forbidden except for danger to the life or health of the mother, rape and fetal handicap. 1990 Total abortions 59,417 Women’s deaths connected with pregnancy 90 Miscarriages 59,454 Cases of infanticide 31 Births 546,000 1994 Total abortions 782 Women’s deaths connected with pregnancy 57 Miscarriages 49,970 Cases of infanticide 17 Births 482,000 "During this time the number of registered abortions declined to 176th of what it had been, and there was not a single death due to illegal abortion. All of these figures are exactly opposite of what International Planned Parenthood people in Poland predicted when the restrictive law was passed." At this site if you will click on link 14 - "Fetal Pain" you will certain see another good reason to become an anti-abortion candidate. Winchester
We cannot stop global warming. We can reduce our pollution and the small role we play in thist natural trend, but we can't stop any more than we started it.

We can reduce or eliminate our theoretical contribution, but we can't halt it.
Shalom Winchester: Now that I have read an article by biologist Carl Cantrell I can better understand that you were really onto something with these comments. If anybody here has connections that will help the following message get merrily on its way to Pope Benedict himself, I will greatly appreciate your help. Thank you. Please forward this message to His Holiness Pope Benedict.
Dennis Tate 795 West Indian Harbour Lake RR#2 Sherbrooke, NS., B0J-3C0 E-mail: tate4pictoucentre@yahoo.ca December 29, 2007 Vatican Information Service Holy-See Press Office Via della Conciliazione 54 00120 Vatican City - Europe E-mail: vis@pressva-vis.va Dear Vatican Information Service Personnel: I have already sent a submission entitled “Anti-Armageddon Paradigm Shift Monetary Policy Theory – The Introduction” to the Virgin Earth Challenge. I wish to invite His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI to be an official co-applicant with us in our full submission. Prime Minister Stephen Harper has been invited to be co-applicant as well. I will greatly appreciate it if you will forward this message to His Holiness Pope Benedict. I regard Sir Richard Branson's offer as comparable to the request by Pharaoh for the intreptation of his alarming dream. It is the duty of the servants of the Almighty to respond to such a challenge. For the record I personally suspect that Mr. Immanuel Velikovsky who founded Jerusalem University along with Dr. Albert Einstein may have offered the best explanation for the recent rapid melting of the polar ice caps. Mr. Velikovsky believed that the earth has undergone 171 previous polar shifts and he suspected that we were due for another. If his theory is accurate then many residents of Central Nova, where I plan to campaign for office, could potentially soon lose their homes due to the world's highest ever recorded tides. I feel that I desperately need the assistance of Pope Benedict to help get the world more properly prepared to deal with rising ocean levels, one of the primary negative side effects of global warming. Thank you for your help. Warm regards. Dennis Tate http://www.virgin.com/Companies/VirginEarth/VirginEarth.aspx A solution is needed of the utmost urgency to Save the Earth, it is for this reason that on 09 02 2007 the Virgin Earth Challenge was launched. I am extremely glad that our Minister of Defense Mr. Mackay was unhurt in the bombings that took place so near to him in his last trip. Although your accepting this offer would probably be difficult for you considering that I plan to run for office in the next federal election, at the least I wanted to give you this option. I am seeking 24 official co-applicants for my submission for the Virgin Earth anti-global warming award. Sir, I would certainly love to have you as one of them. I plan to also extend this invitation to His Holiness Pope Benedict. After you read my application it will be obvious why I wish to have both you and the Catholic pontiff involved. The most effective remedy for global warming will be expensive. I have also asked biologist Mr. Carl Cantrell to become an official co-applicant. A friend of mine sent me a link into one of Mr. Cantrell’s writings about a month ago. Last week I read his proposed solution to global warming and it is obvious that he has covered this subject brilliantly and far more in depth than my own writings. http://hauns.com/~DCQu4E5g/globwarm.html Global Warming II by Carl Cantrell “So how is our problem of continental drying causing global warming? It all has to do with vegetation and sun light. When sun light hits a plant, it causes a process which we call photosynthesis where the energy from the sun light creates oxygen for us to breath, water for us to drink, and is stored as sugar for plants and animals to use. When the same sun light hits the soil, all of its energy turns into heat and is radiated back into the atmosphere, carried away by running surface water such as rain fall, is carried away to other areas by our winds, and diffuses down into the soil towards the earth's crust. All of this warms our planet increasing its average temperature.” “Therefore, the less vegetation you have on the planet, the more sunlight is being turned into heat and the warmer the planet becomes. This is very critical because warmer and dryer winds dry out other land areas faster decreasing the vegetation on those land areas. Less humidity in the air also reflects less sun light back out into space so that more sun light strikes the earth and more heat is generated.”…. “The truth is that you can do more to decrease global warming by just reducing the average temperature for the Sahara Desert by one or two degrees than if we humans completely quit using fossil fuels and returned to the cave….” “So, how would you start working to resolve this problem? Easy, cool the deserts and get some vegetation growing on them as soon as possible….” “We need to start working on this as soon as possible because, if the planet reaches a point to where it is warming faster than our technology can possibly stop or reverse this warming trend, then our planet is lost and all life will cease to exist on this planet within a relatively short period of time. We will need to start with the largest and hottest deserts because cooling them will have the greatest benefit in the least time.” Mr. Minister, you can read the text of my own introductory submission here at this link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Tate4CentralNova/message/1 “Anti-Armageddon Paradigm Shift Monetary Policy Theory – The Introduction.” Thank you for your consideration of this matter Mr. Prime Minister. Warm regards. Dennis Tate p.s. Mr. Prime Minister, the best explanation that I have personally ever read on how such a massive project could be financed was written by three economists, Harold Chorney, John Hotson, and Mario Seccareccia.
