What makes your Magisterium "truer" than the Catholic Magisterium?
I'm glad that this topic came up again. Please, Budge, answer the question. mortify
I'm glad that this topic came up again. Please, Budge, answer the question.
I guess there is a belief that the Holy Spirit is guiding one's interpretation of the Bible. But I think what's really happening is an exercise of the ego. The verse budge quoted applies more to herself than the Vicar of Christ.
TotusTuusMaria
J.M.J.
Hey I was talking about the Magisterium here too, a council is part of the Magisterium is it not? All men claiming power for THEMSELVES, with no accountability, measuring themselves by themselves.
They are not infalliable because of who or what they are. They are infalliable because the Holy Spirit is infalliable, and he works through them and will always work through them when making set declarations concerning morals or faith. Christ appointed and instituted this. I also think it is a good question to ask what makes what you believe the truth of Christ? To believe that is to also believe "in oneself" does it not? Or will you use the argument that you are not infalliable, but the Holy Spirit working in you is infalliable? And if your going to use that then pray tell where Christ said that Budge will always speak the truth in matters of faith and morals? He didn't. He never chose you to lead his Church. He sent you out to preach the Gospel. He chose the Pope to lead the Church he instituted in Matthew 16:18, Luke 22: 31-32, and John 21:15-17. Nowhere in the Bible does it say Budge will always speak the truth or needs to lead any sheep. It does say that Peter has been handed the keys, given the authority, and sent to feed the sheep. God bless! In Jesus and Mary, Marie
