M.SIGGA
and this one is from an Anglican site: http://justus.anglican.org/resources/bio/bioalpha.html This one is from the Lutheran Calendar on this site of a saintly Lutheran Archbishop of Uppsala in the Church of Sweden. It includes a prayer. Check out some of the others. http://justus.anglican.org/resources/bio/199.html I think this proves why it's a little ineffective to ask overall questions about protestantism because two different extremes exist: some that want to completely purge Christianity from it's roots in Antiquity and others that simply want to reform only what they deem to be incorrect. All the debates are officially over. I guess we're all not going to hell afterall.
Ellenita
Anglican churches have saints in their names. Some saints are recognised by people who profess no faith what so ever! It's not at all uncommon to see hundreds of flags of the cross of St George and also the cross of St Andrew at football matches in the UK!!
EcceNovaFacioOmni
There is also a St. John's Episcopal Church in town. Everyone acknowledges St. Patrick's Day, even if it's just for the drinking.
