As he mentioned the contemplative sisters are the hidden heart of the Community. In fact, I believe that most of the Brothers would tell you that they are the most important part of the community. The backbone so to speak. There is a US web site as well [url="http://www.communityofstjohn.com"]http://www.communityofstjohn.com[/url] Also, on the international web site be sure to click on the little arrows at the bottom as there is more info "hidden" there about the Community. I'll do my best to answer what questions I can, I'm an Oblate. If any of you come to Peoria give me a shout! There are a number of summer activities going on in Princeville which is the English speaking novitiate for North America. They should be listed on the US site.
