Why should I take their words over that of scripture? I got a rule if they have any connection to Constantine. Origen and or Alexandrian school [ascendant of or descending from], its an early deceiver.
rotfl. Not withstanding these AF and ECF were within several generations of Jesus Christ, helped define the concepts of Trinity etc, or the later ones helped pick out the books of the Catholic collection of books later known as biblia, nah, why would they be important???? " To learn history is to cease to be protestant." I guess blindness can be a wonderful thing.

KnightofChrist
O Lord Jesus Christ, who showest forth Thine omnipotence most manifestly when Thou sparest and hast compassion, Thou who didst say, "Pray for those who persecute and calumniate you," we implore the clemency of Thy Sacred Heart on behalf of souls made in the image of God, but most miserably deceived by the treacherous snares of Freemasonry, and going more and more astray in the way of perdition. Let not the Church, Thy Spouse, any longer be oppressed by them, but appeased by the intercession of the Blessed Virgin, Thy Mother, and the prayers of the just, be mindful of Thy infinite mercy, and, disregarding their perversity, cause these very men to return to Thee, that they may bring consolation to the Church by a most abundant penance, make reparation for their misdeeds, and secure for themselves a glorious eternity. Who livest and reignest, world without end. Amen.

Budge
Every cult follows a leader no questions asked, and that right there is something Catholicism holds in common with Jim Jones. Jim Jones was not a fundamentalist Christian but added to the Bible and preached a liberal gospel to poor people who lived in the ghetto of socialism and social justice skewing scripture. I follow the Holy Spirit who has been sent to lead Christians into all truth. Are you going to try and claim you dont use even private judgement to follow the pope and his men? KnightofChrist
Do you ever question yourself Budge? I've never seen you admit you are wrong about anything. A very prideful accuser you seem to be... You dont like "the Pope and his men" take it up with Christ Jesus and His Bride. If you were lead by the Holy Spirit you would be a different person than you've been. I asked you how you knew it was false, by what standards and whose authority. You haven't answered those questions. All you've said is that you "follow the Holy Spirit who has been sent to lead the Christians into all truth." My question is, why is there "so much" truth out there? How many Protestant denominations are there? Why is your "truth" better than David Koresh's "truth?" I submit to you that without a central teaching authority, all we can do, along with Pilate, is ask, "what is truth?"

The same Holy spirit that makes you accuse fellow Christians of being occultists? The problem you face now is that you allienated people that is in the same corner as you and as me and Urib know for a fact now, you have 'NO' discernment and are going on your clouded self-righteous judgement and not the holy spirit as you think. Yashua will not lead a Christian into accusing another in the way you did, blatantly and falsely. You should go and try your methods in real life and not in your room. See how people respond to your tactics face to face without having to hide behind the internet, you will come back a compasionate person without personal attacks, hating the sin and not the persons. The word of God is written in my heart not online. Jesus is my Lord.

[he skewed scripture] at one point he even said that it was against Gods commands to even criticize any authority at all, and he even included present politicians. Which shocked me. He even said if Hillary Clinton became prez that she would be above all criticism! This was not normal for a Baptist chruch of any kind. It was actually a shocking moment. But I am not naive enough to think that there arent false preachers even in my own denomination. So I knew by scripture he was preaching FALSE DOCTRINE. Now I see you folks ranting and raving about me going by my own interpetation. What is wrong with using God given brains to discern a wannabe Jim Jones in the pulpit? What if that priest who preach new age and occult was in your pulpit at Mass, would you close down what your mind was telling you because you were afraid to be following your own "interpetation" The Catholic view of DISCERNMENT here is frightening!
