Farsight one
Just because it's used in the occult, doesn't mean that it is by nature an occult symbol. The swastika is most famous because it was the symbol of nazi Germany, however, it was a popular American Indian symbol first. It is still used in some American Indian traditions as well. Remember, it is not the symbol, or the action, or the words said, but the intent behind it that is important. You're working so hard to delve out the wolf in sheep's clothing that you're trying to slay sheep to find it.

I made SURE it wasn't more than 150x150, but what I didn't think to check til about the 10th time trying to load it, was that it wasn't more than 50 KB. Have you checked the actual file size?
Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 50 KB. The following file types are allowed: gif, jpeg, jpg, swf
Try saving it as jpeg if it's not already, that's what remedied my problem.

jeffpugh
Cmom, you have gone through 3 avatars now (in this day). I liked the second one. And where do Irish people get the idea that EVERYONE is Irish? hahaha. I have Welsh and Scottish roots apparently...
Apotheoun
Good Lord, it's just an avatar. Next thing you know people will be saying that you shouldn't have a Christmas tree because of its pagan origins.
