Gift Idea For Priests

Gift cards or a gift certificate for a favorite restaurant. If you really want to make a fuss, how about the kids "help" fix and serve the good Father an Italian meal {spaghetti } Complete with the music and atmosphere of course.

Haha! That's exactly why gift cards are so appreciated!

Black belts or socks are also good. If you're thinking of buying him a wallet, pay attention to what kind he already carries, i.e., bi-fold or tri-fold. If he uses one kind, he probably won't be used to the other kind.

Also, instead of giving books, I give my priest/seminarian/brother-friends gift certificates to their favorite bookstore. That way they'll probably read what they get! :

Our homeschool co-op made quilts for our priests for Christmas. Each kid made a square and one of the moms did a fantastic job of sewing them together. I was really impressed. They were very masculine colored and very soft and warm. They each looked really pleased. It was fun.
