I don't think that's why most people pay their taxes-- out of fear. I think that most people pay their taxes out of a sense of duty or responsibility.

And if you're an American citizen living abroad, you still are obligated to pay your taxes.

Get all the lawyers you want they will not trump the Constitution of The Untied States of America. And as a citizens I do believe you have to report some taxes at lest.

I think he stated earlier that he's an American living in the UK (or at least abroad)... Why not just renounce your citizenship and be done with us entirely??? There are many people who would gladly have it.

Because, btw, it's not especially "heroic" to live abroad, not pay your taxes, criticize the government (and everything else) and yet maintain your citizenship.
