cathoholic_anonymous
I have three journals, if you count my two blogs. One is a Christian blog that I help to write over on Rejesus.co.uk, one is my personal blog (it began as a way to keep friends and family in Saudi Arabia updated when I moved to England), and one is a proper paper diary that is reserved for letters to God. Domine ut Videam
I have been journaling for about three years and am a senior in HS. I am almost through my second journal so i guess i don't really journal daily, but it is more than time permits. I started journaling at the suggestion of my chaplain at HS and it has been a great blessing in my life. It is only through writing that i am able to fully articulate all that my heart is feeling. Thus my journaling is a combination of prayers, quotes, song lyrics, and just my own writings. Going back and rereading it is like stepping back in my life to a perfectly preserves moment in time.... Through journaling i have come to better understand my life, know myself, and God. It has brought safely through troubled times, very troubled times, to joy and back again. Being able to write is the one constant in my life and without it i don't think i could survive. Thus, my most favorite quote: "I write for the same reason i breathe, because if i didn't i would die." -Lauren

Starets
I've kept a journal in various forms since 1983. I don't have them prior to 2000 though

eilis
I keep a prayer journal- kind of letters to God. It helps me focus my thoughts when I pray, and it's fascinating to go back and read it weeks or months later. It really helps to show me how much God has done for moe.
