Take care :) Edited January 23, 2004 by socalscout
Ekilharas
Yes, I did watch the Mouseketeers! I wanted to be one. And yes, I did know that Bob Keeshan was the original 'Clarabell.' What hit home today as I saw the notice of his death was that he was only 76 years old. I would have guessed older than that. (that is not much older than me, lol) But then I can also remember the days before TV. Radio was so great for the imagination. Shows like "The Shadow" and of course, "Fibber Magee and Molly." blessings, Nell Edited January 24, 2004 by Ekilharas

Thomas Michael
My local UHF stations used to always carry the classic Looney Tunes cartoons, and CBS on Saturday mornings had 'em too in the form of "The Bugs Bunny - Road Runner Show". I also remember the Sid & Marty Krofft shows, especially "Sigmund" and "The Bugaloos". Other cartoons from my childhood: The Super Globetrotters Saturday Supercade (cartoons based on video games like Donkey Kong, Pitfall, Q*Bert and Frogger) Pac-Man (not part of the above show) Smurfs Fat Albert Transformers The Shmoo The Mighty Mouse/Heckle & Jeckle Show
SallyCat
Y'all are making me go nuts. To hear about all of these good shows and to believe I missed them. I have never heard of most of these shows. Probably my favorite show as a small one was Ghost Busters. I was a Ghost Buster and my best friend was Egon. We even had a dance! ::Sigh:: The good ole days. We live on Ghost Buster Lake One and I even still have my backpack.
Thomas Michael
Was it the Filmation Ghostbusters... or "The REAL Ghostbusters"? I'm guessing Filmation snagged the cartoon rights to the name before the makers of the film could. And when they made a cartoon that had absolutely nothing to do with the original film, the other guys struck back with a cartoon more faithful to the movie.
