L5
It's banned in the Western world. But I'm not sure why Liberals even want Liturgical dance in the first place. Can someone explain? Also, what if a parish was built in North American that catered to, say, immigrant Hawaiians. Is Liturgical Dance permissible in a parish that caters to a community that has dance integrated with their culture?
cmotherofpirl
Novelty. Since Mass is so boring , lets introduce dancing to liven it up. If A Church was built, say in San FRancisco, for Hawaiians, they could conceivably apply for a dispensation. The more important question is why would anybody move here from Hawaii?
logos
Yeah, novelty is a big one. They think Mass is boring because they are not really spiritually in tune with the Miracle that is ocurring. Also Pride. People feel powerful if they can go against the authorities

The Shover Robot
i want liturgical dance..oh no i don't. i want a glass of water. Water is good. You know, of all the things I feel during mass, the urge to get up and shake my money maker is not one of them.
Anna
Some liturgical dance goes along with New Age spirituality, feminizing God, praying to the "sophia goddess," honoring images of "Christa," a semi-nude female on the cross...yaddah, yaddah, yaddah.... And perhaps some don't really know what they're doing.
