M.SIGGA
All our prayers to protect the troops overseas have been heard. The death tolls are really painful to think about, but God is still there in the midst of it all. Continue to pray for all our heros overseas because God is just so amesome and powerful and he really listens to his people and delivers. amesome God, Prince of Peace, Lord of All, please protect our troops. Amen. http://www.mansfieldnewsjournal.com/news/s...ews/243806.html

God Conquers
this is... interesting. So, do you believe God is actively protecting the troops of the US while they invade a country?
MrsFrozen
this is... interesting. So, do you believe God is actively protecting the troops of the US while they invade a country? Hi, God Conquers. Yes, the Lord is protecting them while they ensure an end to Saddam's reign of terror, which included the rape, murder, and torture of his own people for his own pleasure. God bless. :)
God Conquers
wow. So, by inference, do you think God has ordained the actions taken by the US? Why doesn't he protect the innocent Iraqis and their children from the bombs of the US?
M.SIGGA
This has nothing to do with the "Sadaam issue," so please don't turn it into that. It's thanksgiving for God answering our prayers for safety. Despite the causes of the war, God still answers the prayers of the faithful. It's not a matter of what I personally believe, the facts speak for themself - read the website! (I accidentally posted this on the wrong board - should have been open mic). God Conquers
I understand the purpose. I just think that to think that God is protecting the troops is not a far stretch from God wanted the war, and from God is guiding the US. The tone of the article looks to me like this type of thinking. If God is actually protecting the troops I think that's amazing! I must admit I was skeptical of the 700 Club's "Operation Prayer Shield".

I must admit I was skeptical of the 700 Club's "Operation Prayer Shield". The purpose of the article was to show some unique cicumstances of possible miraculous intervention - none of these would ever be on FOX, MSNBC, or CNN. God works in mysterious ways and there are multitudes of prayers from Christians calling for the safety of the Iraqi people during this hour of war and terror. I'm positive God is acting on their behalf too because he answers every prayer in one way or another. That's why it's important to keep praying even when it seems like nothing is ever being answered. God is never too late and never too early, but always on time, and people can't always see that with human eyes.

PatrickRitaMichael
I think God is protecting troops and Iraqi people b/c Christians are praying for both. I think that even the death of one Iraqi civilian is too much, but considering the expectations I had at the beginning of this war, God has definitely protected the Iraqi people from what COULD have been a worse situation. Just keep praying for both anyway b/c every life (American and Iraqi) is important, even if we don't agree with the US government :)

Paladin D
It doesn't matter if the guy is a Catholic or Protestant, but I'm still curious. Is the Rev. a Catholic priest?
