The Knights of Columbus have a very good one. I forgot the name of it but it came out last year. It is better than the one the Institute for Religious LIfe put out although that one is good, too.

Email Sr Colleen Clair of the Salesian Sisters. They have an awesome video about their sisters. Its a 10 min DvD and shows a great view of what nuns do... and there are some really funny parts where the nuns play video games or dance to the macerana. you'll like it.

Her email is:

Would you be open to showing the "rapping nuns"? Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration- Mishawaka, IN

The video that Sr Mary Catharine is talking about, I believe, is found here:

i emailed Grassroots Films (the people who did 'Fishers of Men'). they have a video clip they did for sisters of st. john the baptist (i think). anyway, the video isn't for sale but they are sending me a copy!!

i am looking into other videos too! thanks everyone so far! :)

The one that I linked you to above is a great video with several different orders, whereas the Grassroots video is just of the Sisters of St John the Baptist is, well, just of them. I enjoyed their video, but for women religious in general, the K of C one is fabulous, and you only have to pay for shipping!

Sr Mary Catharine mentioned the one by the IRL, Completely Christ's which is pretty good, but not the best - but still, good. It has Fr. Benedict Groeschel, and several other religious - 2 Carmelite Srs of the Sacred Heart of LA. But with it, there came another DVD of 2 talks by Mother Teresa which are AWESOME! Actually I only watched the first talk so far, but it was incredible hearing Mother Teresa talk about religious life! I highly recommend this for young people. If you can show them a couple, consider this one. I think though, that you can only buy it as a bonus with the other - http://religiouslife.com/catalog/details.php?id_catalog=05V1

The K of C one is better because it approaches religious life first as a whole way of life in which we also live the evangelical counsels. The IRL one approaches religious life first from the vows and discuss it from that point of view.

The K of C approach is the older approach in the history of the church....and it's directed by OP's so maybe that's why I like it better???? NAH?
