Paladin D
First time I watched it, and like it pretty much. One of my favorites was the Dean Martin/Frank Sinatra guy. And those two brothers from NYC.

And those two brothers from NYC. Yeah....they were both (all three) very good... However, I've got to root for the scootergirl just cause she's from my home town! :D

God Conquers
The judges are way meaner this time around.
Kilroy the Ninja
Yes, they are, but I have to agree with Simon when he said tonight that people are deluded. This is the third year of this and people are still showing up - unable to sing a single note in tune. How deluded are we as a society?

Ash Wednesday
It's best when the crappy singers come on the show. Randy, Simon and Paula have to admit that it's one of the reasons people watch -- for comic relief.

God Conquers
Bro Adam is right in a way. Last night this one guy, who was a really bad singer, started crying because he didn't make it. He said "This is what everyone wants, it's their dream, to be on American Idol and be famous." [PARAPHRASE] That is a serious problem. If to be happy we have to be famous and on TV, we are not seeking happiness. Just look at the title "Idol". These people want to become Gods in their own world. I think it's problematic. However, it is entertaining.
Kilroy the Ninja
Hey they're going to be in Houston tonight. I remember when they were here in town. It truly was an awful storm. I know we have some talented people here in town somewhere, but obviously NOT the ones who they showed on the preview last night! It's embarrassing... Mrs. Bro. Adam
I was talking to IcePrincess about this, and I asked her why these kids do this. I mean...think about it...don't you think that these people should be smart enough to ask someone if they have talent before they go before Simon and get humilated? I mean....wouldn't a true friend tell you that you'll be ripped apart if you go in front of Simon singing as badly as most these people do? I mean....That's just terrible! Kilroy the Ninja
I think many people don't really have "true" friends.
