read this link! It will take you, if you follow it, to the Al-jazeera website.

What you'll fin in this link that is significant is that islamic officials estimate that 6 million Africans each year convert from islam to Christianity. Sure gives me hope for them out there!

Mateo el Feo

My interpretation of this guy (the Muslim "expert") is that he was trying to scare his audience with his statistics and breed anti-Christian suspicions.

If his statistics were accurate, there would have been about 36 million conversions since he was quoted in the year 2000.

I guess I'm a bit skeptical about these stats.

That could easily be the case. I have to feel that the more pain they inflict, the more harm they do, etc. - Those who live in fear will continue to do so, but those who truly search God will see him in the person of Christ and be converted. There is such a phenomena occuring even this day. Visit these links:

This past week there was an article on the increase - dramatic increase in older male circumcision in Nigeria. Within the article it was stated that besides the belief that circumcision helps stop AIDS, the other primary reason was the conversion to Islam. It would appear both 'sides' are fluid at this time and Islam is indeed advancing within the African continent. Whereas Christian countries allow conversions, most Islamic countries ban it. Not a fair deal.
