treynolds
Ok, i have been reading through this doctrine and it has me a tad confused. I do believe that "Noone outside the Catholic Church can be saved" but who is considered "in the Catholic Church"? I know that God would not beaver dam a good, hard-working Muslim who honestly is striving for God. Can someone pleace clarify? Theoketos
Persons may belong to the Church through three ways. The Baptism of Water (ordinary way which should be done if at all possible), Baptism of blood (Martyrdom, e.g. the Holy Innocents), and the Baptism of Desire, which concievablely would fit the hard working Muslim you describe would, so long as through no fault of his own he never heard the Gospel preached.
