Or St. Jude...
I'll pray to both (mebbe they'll listen to me... if this baby is a boy he'll be named after St. Blaise...). I hope you get feeling better soon. stuckinamo
ahh careful!! having Strep and being treated with the antibiotics for it enough times can cause OCD! there's a small sub group of us (well i dono if i shoudl use "us" yet -- i haven't gotten the bloodwork back yet) are affected by something called PANDAS...pediatric autoimmune neurological something something something. i think it's more aimed toward those of us who have had scarlet and or rhematic fever though... not to scare you! but it's just something to be aware of!! you can read more about it here FEEL BETTER!!!!! Edited December 30, 2006 by stuckinamo
avemaria40
Being sick smells of elderberries Hope you and your kids feel better soon. Have you guys tried tea? Some steaming hot chai from Starbucks (black w/honey) feels so good when I'm sick. Anything strong, black, and sweet is the best in the world. St. Joseph, pray for us. homeschoolmom
Thanks. Yeah Scarlet fever (my mom had it) and rheumatic fever (my aunt had it) are on my radar.... OCD is so far from my reality... maybe if I were a little more diligent, we wouldn't be here...

When he startes to get a sore throat he downs a bottle of wine and does a little accupressure. He got strep really bad one year (he had a fever and was even hallucinating--he was driving and had a "vision" of a brick wall coming up in front of him out of the ground) and refuses to get it again. He always follows his wine and accupressure ritual and hasn't gotten it again since we've been married.
