Truth
To you Guy to learn anything is to be against the CC. If that is what you think your mind is not open to learn anything. You don't want to know the truth because it would make you question you faith. The Truth should make you question you church not you faith, for you faith should be in God. The Church is wrong and you will never know because you stay in the confine of its sources and teaching. I have no time to spend with you. I could have finished the outline in the same night but I wanted to see if you wanted or would be open to learning anything, but you are not. This is from Essentials Of World History, By Jean Reeder Smith and Lcey Baldwin Smith.... The Roman empire was transformed into first a Christian state. As the barbarians invaded the empire the only part of it left was and is the Holy Roman Church. Other sources that are non-catholic, with tell you The Roman empire didn't go away it changed. Take heid to this: , once was, now is not, and will come up out of the Abyss and go to his destruction. Edited January 23, 2004 by Truth

God Conquers
The Pagan Roman Empire of Revelation is not the same even as the Pagan Roman Empire of the 3rd century. It became divided into two empires, then re-united, then the western empire fell apart, and the eastern remained. Then, in the West, the Goths controlled it using its communications and economic systems, then the Merovingians took over and it declined, then the Catholic faith spread to all of Europe, and Pepin defeated the muslims, and Charlemagne united europe and was then crowned Holy Roman Emperor. How could this possibly be the same empire? It's 800 years later!

Strange . . . your mind hasn't been striking me as being open to learning anything either. I mean, you refuse to consider what we have to say and continue to spout the same tired nonsense that we've refuted. So start interacting with our specific arguments and stop repeating yourself! Truth
Tina tahnk you for that article...especially the last bbit. The CC have been teaching its own set of doctine, not that of Gods or Christ. Its a sham what the CC teach and if you get out of the box you would know that. You can not call other Christian brother in Christ is you can't share in the same bread and blood of Christ are you all stupit or what! It is one Christ, God and Holy Spirit. You call it something else to claim ownership. In the end days you will answer along with the CC for what you are doing in the name of Christ. What I tried to tell you ALL about Rev is the truth it was what Christ said to us all. He named the Churchs of the time, and ID the woman and where she was and where she would come from. You listen to the false teaching and drink and became drunk on her wine and were fooled. Children of God only listen to his Word not the fallible word of the church. The devil is a lie and he used the same lie with Eve, God is the God of second, third, and four .... chances. You don't have to go to anyone to get to God. You only need to go to him in the name of Jesus. Not Mary or the saints. No one come to the Father but, by me. You must stop saying things as if it was fact when you don't understand. The Word of God was alway written down before and after Christ, but only the CC got the word handed to them. Give God more credit than that please. Dave
Try reading the Word and stop reading the CC sources. Ah, but I DO read the Word, and it's apparent to me that it doesn't conflict with the Catholic Church's teachings in any way, shape, or form. In fact, it supports them! And that's what we've been trying to show you, but you refuse to listen. :(
Anna
Do we have to keep putting up with Larry's trash? Honestly, all he does is bash the Church with worthless tripe. It's rather sickening, not worth debating. Even when proven wrong, he pays no attention. He's convinced we're all evil unbaptized, water dipped heathen who adore clay statues. He won't listen to reason, just keeps posting the same garbage. Why is he here? Not to honestly dialogue, not to honestly debate, just to pound his jack chick type Scripture twisted lies into as many threads as possible. Why doesn't someone ban this person??????????????????????????????????????????????? Pax Christi. <><
Aloysius
all i can say is, how can someone truly be so naive as to think that was going to convince us of anything. you didn't give any evidence, no proof, just the opinion of ONE MAN, the opinion of Larry. and we give you the opinion of the EARLY CHURCH, the opinion of the CATHOLIC CHURCH NOW, the opinion of the CHURCH THROUGH THE AGES, and we show you where in the Bible this is prefigured, in Daniel. we provide evidence, you provide opinions. and may i inquire, no offense intended, as to why you type english in such a way that it is very hard to understand? you teach your man-made interpretation as if it were truth, we teach an interpretation which appears manmade, but it is made by the men who compiled the Bible. isn't THAT interpretation just a tad more credible?

jmjtina
The Church is not the Whore of babylon. So why is the Bride maligned as the Whore? Jesus himself answered the question: "If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign those of his household" (Matt. 10:25). "If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world . . . the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you" (John 15:18–20).
