homeschoolmom
If you think I'm putting other people at risk by conversing with my dear friend, then I will stop, (although I think this would be the worst possible thing to do.) And I don't an Instant or two is really that bad. If your faith is strong it should make no difference.
People feel frightened and violated when someone does something to them like that-- especially young women. It doesn't have anything to do with the level of their faith. Luthien
Pham in Charge, Long before our dear sister fell away, she repeatly reported her Satanic tourment. Did you do anything then to help? No. Why start now? Honestly.
When you say something like this, it begs the question: did you read any of the threads she posted? Lots of people tried to offer help, more than you know. I wouldn't be so quick to judge how "little" people on this phorum have done to help her. catholicinsd
Dust, Raph, HSMom, Theo, and whomever it may concern- do know what's like to the name someone you love, to a the piont of self-sacrifence, dragged through of sin? This is the case of the beautiful child of God and myself. As such, I can't allow crimimal charges to be pressed againist her, and not againist me. Take me, not her. I would gladly suffer perpetually if only to see her return to the great love of our dear Lord and His holy Mother.

morostheos
Never assume to know what others have done to help - remember in a situation such as this prayers are the most powerful help and you will never know how many people have prayed and how much. They may seem useless but they certainly are not.

The point is to prevent others from getting hurt. They mods can't do anything to you in replace of her, because it is her that is causing the problem. No point in offering yourself as the "victim". That won't do anything to right the situation.

Dudette
Obiviously not enough.
Millions of people can help a person who has problems, but in this case, if the person is not willing to hear them, it doesn't matter what the people say, it's not going to make a difference. No matter what. You can't say it wasn't enough, it was most likely more help than what the person would be helped in person. Also, no matter how strong your faith it, in some situations, it is good to stay away from people like this, until they have recovered. I'm sure the Pope would do the same thing. Thank you mods, for the warning.
