Tinkerlina
I'm a metal fan! I really like Blind Guardian, they were the band that got me into metal. They're very much what I call "fantasy metal" the kind of stuff I can see RPGers listening to. Lots of Tolkienian (is that a word?)themes, which I really like. I also love Metallica and think that Hammerfall is pretty cool too.

DemonSlayer
True Symphonic Rockestra is pretty good, its a metal/rock opera project that includes Dream Theater's vocalist; mostly doing songs sung by the Three Tenors. They've got three songs on their website from their unreleased album. DemonSlayer
I don't go to very many shows, but I saw quite a few metal bands at Soundwave 2008 last month. Haste The Day Still Remains As I Lay Dying Killswitch Engage Bleeding Through Divine Heresy Shadows Fall The Fall of Troy I wanted to see Maylene and the Sons of Disaster but they didn't come to my city, I might see Children of Bodom if the tickets weren't so expensive, and The Devil Wears Prada is coming, but I don't like them that much. Fixxxer
Bodom's tickets arent that bad. I think around like 40? but its a big show anyway, like megadeth/in flames and some others. I'm not going to that show, would rather see bodom headline again anyway
