Are they still going? I lost track of them after I left the US.
Jesus_lol
i dont know much about living sacrifice, other than a few songs. does anyone here listen to "death"? probably the best metal band ever.
DemonSlayer
Living Sacrifice has broken up, but Lance Garvin and Rocky Gray's other band Soul Embraced has reformed again recently for the first time since 2003. http://www.myspace.com/soulembraced I've never listened to Death, but I know about them.
misereremi
Cheers for the info! Oh yes, I used to listen to Death- even though lyrically they're not very healthy (that Pull the Plug chorus always springs to mind)
Urib2007
Here's a video clip with footage of the Truth about Rock Music. You may have to download it onto your computer, but please allow it. It's definitely worth watching. Please don't erase this clip. Moderators, at least watch it before deleting it. I know you'll see that it's not worth deleting. Didymus
kinda some innappropriate footage for this forum. but yeah, I think I've heard of that video. I think I'm insulted more than anything else. Insulted that they somewhat classify rock n roll as encompassing Britney Spears and Snoop Dog. Call it what it is. That has nothing to do specifically to rock n roll. Some of those quotes about being on stage have nothing to do with the demonic. It is pretty exhilarating to be up in front of alot of people playing loud music. Sometimes artists play on the whole evil getup because it sells records, even though they may not actually be into it. I'm glad I heard that Madonna quote about desensitization though. So blatant to the culture of death. I'll have to look it up. Edited January 28, 2007 by Didymus
I found a really cool Catholic band.called Eterna. They are located in Brazil, but you can get their music imported. They have a website http://www.eterna.com.br/; but the english translation is still under construction. You can also find them on myspace.
