Groo the Wanderer

I've gotten a couple of PMs since I joined the phamily about my avatar. The descriptions have been varied, but it did get me to thinking that maybe I need to change it.

So...I thought I would ask you folks what you think (and give you a chance to increase yer post count).

Please vote. If enuff folks (doesn't have to be a majority) think it should be changed, I will do so. I already have the perfect replacement picked out

God Bless!

Groo

Okay, I google-imaged "Groo the Wanderer" your favorite comic book character ..

never heard of him before. Maybe your icon could be his picture ...

Yeah, I do find your avator pretty creepy - just giving my honest opinion. The first time I saw it in a post in Vocation Station, I was really freaked out. :0

Coming from someone who just changed her SN this may sound a little odd ... but I think you should not change it. Your avatar becomes part of your identity ... it's like your face. Don't change it just because someone else tells you to.

I think you should do whatever you want with it.

Ditto.

coagulated milk dip!

The question is: Where do I get one for myself?

Ask. There are several people with phat Photoshop/Gimp skillz.

Mostly ditto. I just changed my avatar again... but I try to keep in the same general theme. ;) Of course, I am also the person who didn't change her avatar for like 2 years (when we had regular avatars I kept it the same, when they were changed to signature images I began changing it up).

I like it....
Maybe you could encorporate the picture into a cool full-length version...

Totally do-able. :)

No, no...I'm perfectly content with my Protoss ;). I meant that I seem to recall there's a particular web-software that allows one to create avatars in one's own image, alike to Groo's. Can't remember where to find it, though.

Yeah ... but you change it up because YOU want to change not because of outside pressure to change.

and p.s. I think the new one is very cute. :)
