Strange As Heck Rosary Website:

This site offers rosaries with the Our Father beads customized as things like rose petals and skulls. You can include a pentacle, bat, or devil head as a talisman or center piece. It offers tiny metallic potraits of the Virgin Mary carrying Baby Jesus to include you're wacked out rosary...all I got to say is...

"What the heck?"

It also sells seminarian shirts complete with priest collars and all and sells Crucifixes with a blasphemous introductory! ("Check out our crucifixes. Hang 'em on a wall and tell the world you like 'em dead!") Yet still refers to such terms with reverence such as "Honourable Virgin" and "Blessed Corpus". Huh? At one point according to rumor, this website even tried to eBay a monstrance! The heck is going on here?

See for yourself, but don't get too wierded out or offended...

Been there. It looks and sounds like its just simple capitalism. The mission statement says:

I am a non-denominational person with a great fondness for all beliefs that have celebrations that include food and presents! (Doesn't that include just about all of them?)

Goths and satanists often use Catholic items (either for asthetic value or for desicration). The site looks like someone trying to make a buck off of it.

*Ahem*

Many Goths are athiests. Some are Christian, and some are pagans. You cannot condemn all Goths for the actions of some. Goths are actually a pretty cool group of people if you get to know them.

Because I did this, let me explain. I know very well that you can't caracterize "goths" as a certain faith. I know of several Catholic Goths actually. But, for the most part, they aren't usually devout Catholics. I have, however, seen non-Christian Goths use rosaries and crucifixes for jewelry.

As for being a "pretty cool group of people," it depends on which ones. I've met some who are very nice. I've met others who hate the world and everyone in it.
