Now... onto the subject of Christmas cards....

My list gets shorter each year. I sometimes skip it all together.

I wish I could do them after the 25th without people thinking I was late.

Send them in the summer and when they ask you why you did not send them one, say because I gave you one in July when we celebrated "Christmas in July" ;)

It might work :idontknow:

You know, I've actually thought of doing that.... :detective:  Not the "we celebrated Christmas in July" line (that's great!), but the idea of sending them off in the summer.

I decided one box-- eighteen people... that's it.

Lately, I've been one of those who starts before Thanksgiving, mainly because I normally take the week of Thanksgiving off and the weather is still somewhat cooperative to put the icicle lights on the second story gutter.

And considering we are looking at 10-15 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow here in Chitown, I'm glad I got my outside decorating done!

I've been listening to a bit of Christmas music, since it's been on the radio. But, I wish that the secular world didn't end Christmas on Christmas Eve. That's when it is just begining!!! I'm going to go dig out the Advent wreath today and I might end up bringing up a few other things from the basement as well....

Advent things come out ... :o the day before advent begins!

The Christmas tree usually goes up a lot later... due more to space issues than anything else.

I love having a tree indoors so I will put it up this weekend but leave it undecorated except for clear lights; will also do an advent wreath and greens. I start listening to Advent Carols and The Messiah now; music practice at the Parish gives me all the Christmas Carols anyone needs this early. :saint: Best reason to eat in a Kosher restaurant in December: No Christmas Muzak :topsy:
