mulls
I like the Yankees. I've seen a 10th inning, walk-off homerun from Chad Curtis in Game 3 of the 1999 World Series against the Braves. I also went to Game 2 of the insane ALCS this year, against the pitiful Red Sox. I've had front row seats to a few games, but I'm an avid Bleacher Creature as well. I like the NY Giants. One of my first sports memories is of the 1990 Super Bowl, with Scott No-good missing the field goal to give the Giants the victory. To my credit, I've stuck with them ever since, going through the good times and bad. I've never been to a game. I like the Knicks. I've been to two games at the Garden. The most memorable was a playoff game against the Raptors, when they still had Tracy McGrady. Me and my friends snuck into the 10th row on the floor behind one of the baskets for the second half, because we couldn't stand watching a playoff game from the nose bleed section anymore. The Knicks won after Larry Johnson sealed it with a 3 pointer with 30 seconds left, then famously made the big "L" sign while the Garden went nuts. I like the Uconn Huskies. I go to Uconn. I go to all the home men's basketball games. We are winning the championship this year. 'Nuff said. ok, gimme some good stories of your own, and let's argue. and by the way, I can shoot the 3 better than anybody on this phorum....and that is NOT arguable. dUSt
I like the Packers - born in Wisconsin. Have always been and will always be a cheesehead. Attended several Packer games here in Dallas and in New Orleans. Someday I'll make the pilgrimage to the mecca of football, the frozen tundra, for a game. Already been there during the off-season. I like the Mavericks - use to like the Bucks until Sam Cassell ruined it for me. I'm allowed to like the Mavs because I live here now. Attended the Mavs vs 76ers game a few days ago in a platinum suite--I recommend it. Last year, attended Game 6 of the Mavs vs Kings series when we ended Sac's season. That was sweet. How'd you like that Mavs/Knicks overtime mulls? I use to like the Brewers - baseball ruined it for me. I like Notre Dame - I'm Catholic. What other college team is there? Oh--and all their games are on TV. Down with the Bears, Vikings, Bucs, Lakers and Kings.
Carrie
Yankees? YANKEES? Boy, you're crazy. I'm a Mets fan, through good times and bad times (yep, we've seen bad times). Been to countless games (practically lived at Shea during the 1999 season), although not this season. I've met Mike Piazza and Ricky Hendersen (that's what happens when you practically live there for a season). Cool guys, but I'm not a Piazza lover, I must say. I'm not big into football or basketball, but I tend to root for the Jets and the Knicks when forced to watch either sport. Now that there are no NY teams in the playoffs for football, I predict the Eagles will win the Superbowl. Just a hunch. Hockey, no thanks. Now onto real sports... Figure skating - Michelle Kwan's got it locked! Gymnastics ...one of the girls in the leotards will win b/c she did a flippy, loopy, jumpy, twisty thing. Snail racing - My fav snail Speedy always wins over IamFastSnail and SnailLikeLightning. Being a good Catholic, I must refrain from betting on the snail races, as tempting as they are. Oh, there are so many more, but why bore you? :)

My dad liked them when he was little (in fact he had chiefs pj's....you prolly didn't wanna know that sorry!) They are an amesome team and there colors are the same as the best collage team...ISU...what can I say ISU is a big agriculture college and I like cows. Next comes to baseball where the Chicago Cubs are great...I like the Iowa Cubs which lead to them. I love figure skating esp. Timothy Goebel and Sasha Cohen. Gymnastics is fun to watch b/c i'll never be able to do any of the stuff they do. Soccor and golf are boring. PS- The pope is such a cute older man!! M.SIGGA
Whenever i see my LSU Tigers, tears swell in my eyes and I press my Bengal keychain that I bought at a Speedway on Bayou Teche that plays the LSU Fight Song. They are just so beautiful The Philly Eagles are dope too (wearing the McNabb jersey all this weekend!) I don't follow baseball, but I always root for the Yankees because you gotta love those stripes!

Pio Nono
JMJ 1/17 - Our Lady's Saturday Man, the Indianapolis Colts are where it's AT for football - Peyton Manning knows what's up! Just too bad we're a +3 underdog for tomorrow; it's also too bad that New England won't have a problem beating the tar out of Indianapolis. However, Indy was a +7 underdog against Denver...... My team for baseball is the Chicago Cubs - I'm one of the weird guys. You can argue all you want about the World Series, &c., but you need to visit Wrigleyville in Chicago. Then you'll understand. I don't yet have an NHL team, but I want one.

mulls
Well, I only really like baseball. My favorite team is the Braves. But, my second favorite team (sorry mulls) is whoever is playing the Yankees.... yeah, Braves fans tend to be a little bitter. That's what happens when the Yankees beat your team in 8 straight World Series games. Did I mention I saw one of those games? does anyone think they have a better jumpshot than me?
