Ellenita
According to the Catechism the baptisms performed by non-Catholic churches are perfectly valid
Only if the Trinitarian formula for Baptism is said.
Socrates
haha I really like how this guy's IP address matches dairygirl's oops... did I just say that out loud?
So THAT solves the mystery of "Catholic Fanatic"! But are you sure? Catholic Fanatic's a lot more articulate than Dairygirl. But I know the real truth - Budge was right! The IP address doesn't happen to also be the same as yours, does it?? I can smell Romish sockpuppetry a mile away! This is all a plot to bump down important threads! dairygirl4u2c
You give me too little credit, Soc. Just because I don't type in short bits, or narrow minded phrases doesn't mean I'm not articulate. Just because I understands shades of uncertainty and gray doesn't mean I'm not articulate. At least I recoginze it and call it what it is, while most here seem to want to ignore it, at least on the surface. It's more humbiling to admit it explicitly and begin true dialouge. Admit there's technically uncertainty, but you choose to have faith or whatever the case. You don't have to be rigid in dialouge to be a Catholic, like you, ironmonk, and CF. Look to Al, Jeff, and a few others like them to understand. Also just because I use a few bad analogies to make my points sometimes doesn't mean I"m not articulate... but it sure doesn't help, I admit. Repent or be damned. :-D Edited December 1, 2006 by dairygirl4u2c
dairygirl4u2c
another thread of wild accusations. the initial post was never really thoroughly addressed either. but alas i don't think there was much more to be said.
