puellapaschalis Posted November 28, 2006 Share Posted November 28, 2006 I've taken Confirmation groups to Tyburn on trips as part of their catechesis; we were able to see visit the crypt, shown round by one of the community. Then we risked our lives (I [i]did[/i] get parental consent forms.. ) visiting the actual site of the Tyburn Tree in the middle of a road junction. Tyburn is a really special place. Tom Posted November 30, 2006 Share Posted November 30, 2006 I also love Tyburn. It's fantastic to know you can always go to adoration there when in Central London. I've taken quite a few friends there in the past, all of whom have been very moved by it. I'd be tempted to join them if I was the right gender. Weekends, however....that could be something more flexible, but after Christmas, because it's all just too crazy before then.
