illeat
What's the deal with the different colours of Scapular? I've see red, white, green and of course brown (plus I've heard of metals that can take the place of the cloth)...is one more authentic than the other? Thanks for setting me straight! Pio Nono
JMJ 11/18 - St. Rose Philippe Duschene illeat, The different colors for the scapulars are simply different devotions. The Brown Scapular is for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the black scapular is for St. Michael, the red scapular is for the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the blue scapular (which I wear) is for the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. There are others, but I'm not sure of their devotion. Hope this helps. Yours, Pio Nono
