as a protestant the things that made my mind engaged are

1.) connections with the jewish faith/practices and catholicism.
2.) unrefuatble patristics resources
3.) a defense of the "bad history" of the Church.

just my 0.2, if you need any help let me know. I wrote something brief on the JW for a world religions class last year, my my experience is limtied.
