who else saw this?
was I the only one who saw the video of Iran's President boasting of the coming action of Iran sparking the end-war Armageddon; and the enemies of Islam being forced to wear the "mark of shame" on the forehead?

Am I the only one who hears this from Iran and thinks Revelation? At least a little bit?

No? I’m just a freak? Ok…

Yes I did watch it last night.
Chilling...really.

That whole part about Iran's president made me think about something my sister said many years ago when she was really into Notradameus...that the third world war would be started by a small third world country.
Of course, Notradameus said alot of things and I take that stuff with a grain of salt, but it did pop into my head none the less.

In my humble opinion, the reason that we havent blown ourselves up with nuclear weapons is because man in inherently good, the idea of killing thousands, nay millions of people is terrifying considering that a huge part of that will include so many innocents and especially to the person hitting the button...themselves...who truly wants that on their head.
Like Russia and the US for example, the idea of someone being the first to set off a nuclear missile would only end up with a counter strike and thus we would pretty much wipe each other out. Now...how does that solve anything?

What is the sense of blowing each other up when no one gets to stand up in the end and do the "I won" dance. No one wins.
I know that there were tons of other factors involved and I am in no way an expert on that issue, but getting down to brass tacks...would you have pushed the button? I know I could'nt have.

Now on the other hand, Radical Islam has a much different slant...maybe youre starting to see it more clearly now. Death to them is the goal...the final outcome.
They couldnt care less if everyone in the world was dead and only one Radical was left, cause in their eyes it would mean that they have done what they set out to do. This is insanity, honestly.
These extremists see their own death as a victory and a good thing for Islam...God comes second in this equation, if He is even truly part of the equation at all. If they take a few non-muslims with them (or even muslims who dont agree with them) then it is a bonus.
They THINK they are doing it for God, but as any honest Muslim will tell you they are wrong....dead wrong.

Thier over-inflated egos have allowed them to see themselves as God. They are just too blind to see the truth. That is dangerous, and it aint a joke.
They think that they are doing this for the greater glory of God.
A God who would rejoice in the killing of millions of people so that millions more would be forced against their own free will under the banner of one religion is a tyrant.

That is not God. That is not the God of Christianity. That is not the God of Islam. That is not the God of Judaism.

What it is then, is the ego of man possessed by a pure unadulterated evil.

They dont represent God, they represent Satan.

And as far as Iran's president..

No, you're not a freak...at least on this.
He would like to put the mark of the Beast on all who oppose him.

Reading between the lines...

He wears the mark of the Beast himself.

This does sound a bit like Revelation.

I dunno if this is a coinidence or not, but this Sunday's readings are all about "you do not know the day or the hour."

People, anybody, please, do not wait to repent. Don't wait until you get a new job, don't wait until you get to confession this Saturday, don't wait until you get on your deathbed, don't even wait until you finish reading this post.

Just repent.

And believe the Good News.

PS: "Ya sick twisted freak" is a Beck reference. He regularly refers to his audience as this (tongue in cheek, it's pretty funny).

 I understand you

aaaweyaaaaa! ya sick twisted freak
After all, I am an evil, gas guzzling, environment hating, war-mongering conservative. Now I’m off to check the latest “end of western civilization fantasy league” scores in Fusion Magazine.

I gotta tell ya, a lot of my money is riding on President Tom.
And that's a wager that may pay off... and that scares the carp out of me.
