Anna
Good morning from Jefferson County in Northern New York! We're still experiencing sub-zero temperatures, and all area schools are closed. Yesterday, we broke the record low, with our temperature dipping to -33 degrees Farenheit. Today is another chilly one: schools are closed. Now for a look at things in your area.... Pax Christi. <><
Sojourner
It's 23 degrees Fahrenheit here in the heart of the Hoosier state, on our way up to a whopping 31 (which I'm sure would feel like a heat wave to you, Anna!). We're getting flurries today, looking forward to a wintry mix on Saturday. I am sad because I lost one of my gloves late last week, so my hands will be cold if I can't find it. :(
Carrie
It's about 9 degrees in NYC, heading for 0 by the time evening falls. We've had snow all night and it's still going. I think at least 6 inches have fallen by now. But alas, I still had to go to work. :(

BullnaChinaShop
It is currently partly cloudy and 55 deg. in the Florida Panhandle with a projected high of 66 deg. I hope things warm up up there in the Northeast. My younger brother is in New Hampshire going to school. I'm sure he's freezing his tail off. Carrie
I have to come visit southern New York next week so it better thaw out some before I get there! Well, it's supposed to be 34 degrees by Sunday. That's a heat wave around here. What part of NY are you visiting?
marielapin
Well, it's supposed to be 34 degrees by Sunday. That's a heat wave around here. What part of NY are you visiting? I'm travelling to a small town called Owego, its about 30 miles north of the Pennsylvania border. I have to fly into Binghamton, if you know where that is. It's a business trip...there is a huge Lockheed Martin plant there that pretty much supports the whole town. I can handle 34 degrees, but I don't know about the negative 30 thing. I did buy some long underwear last weekend just in case.
Kilroy the Ninja
It's a balmy 65-ish degrees with cloudy skies and intermittent drizzle around these parts - Superbowl parts that is...
Azriel
12 inches of snow fell yesterday in the Great Lakes State, and its currently 15 degrees and falling. So, what a girl to do? Snuggle on the couch with the lil one!
PatrickRitaMichael
Metro-Detroit: I don't know the exact temp but it's very white outside and my fingers go numb if I stay outside for more than 5 minutes. I was feeling sorry for myself until I read your post Anna. Thank you for making me feel better :)

I know where Binghamton is and it's further north than where I am, so it might be a little chillier than 34 degress, but won't be as cold as where Anna lives because it's much further south than where she is. Long underwear is a good idea. And I'm sure they've got snow, so maybe borrow a pair of boots. Although, I don't know if any of your neighbors in Florida would have snow boots. Have a safe trip!
