Funky_R
I wish we had a DTS chapter, it always seemed like a cool thing to have, but we've already got a youth group program grounded down, so I could never get it going.

Kosh
no, Dead Theologians Society. Its the best. We Got THE Eddie Cotter! (I THINK thats how you spell his last name) He's the best.
suuran
I was once a member of Kosh and Princess' DTS chapter...and it was awesome. Eddie Cotter, one of the founders, was/is there every week, and he's about as cool an Irishman as they come. But, alas, I'm in college now. I can still go back as a guest, but time/energy don't always allow that....

Eia
At the risk of sounding pretty lame, what is the purpose of the Dead Theologians Society and what are the criteria for membership?

Lucy
What is the Dead Theologians Society? The Dead Theologians Society is a Catholic apostolate for high school age teens and college age young adults. Through the Saints of yesterday, the Dead Theologians Society inspires the youth of today to become the saints of tomorrow. A special charism of the Dead Theologians Society is to pray for the release of the Souls in Purgatory. Its motto is, “Dead to the World, alive in Christ!” This is inspired by Romans 6:11 where St. Paul tells us to be dead to sin but alive in Christ Jesus. But I could have joined it in college. Too bad I didn't know about it then. Sounds like fun.

I'm too old now. : I went to a (very) Catholic college, though, so I guess a DTS would have been a little redundant there...
